Meet Our Instructors
Carolyn RAMSeY
Carolyn has been doing theater and musical theater since she was 10. Her improv journey led her to Spitfire theater five years ago where she has been a main stage player in Whose Line and almost every longform show the theater has done. Most recently she directed and was in Murder Mystery Radio Hour and performed in Flash Fiction: Star Wars and NCIS: St. Pete.
Kathryn DIonne
Kathryn started improv at Spitfire in March of 2023 after her sketch teacher at Second City recommended performing improv and stand-up as a way to improve at sketch writing. What Kathryn didn’t expect was how much she would fall in love with improv itself. Since joining the Spitfire community, she has had the chance to nurture her original comedy love of sketch by being part of the sketch team and writing and directing for two sketch shows. She also performs in Whose Line St. Pete, instructs Level 2: Duo Scenes and the Sunday Drop-In, and directed “Shift Happens” an improvised sitcom mainstage show in July 2025. However, her presence at the theater is felt most strongly by her extremely recognizable laugh. Kathryn is pursuing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and plans to integrate improv and comedy into her future work with clients.
