Comedy for All Ages Comes to Downtown St Pete

Spitfire Theater, St. Pete’s home for improv comedy located in the Grand Central district, provides several different options for late night laughs and good times every weekend. While most of our shows are for ages 18 and up, our early show on Friday is specially suited to bring out laughs from the whole family in a clean, all ages sort of way.

Our family-friendly show, Funny You Should Ask!, is a sure bet for anyone who wants to enjoy comedy made up on the spot without any adult themes or edgy language. The actors play games like you’d see on Whose Line Is It Anyway, taking suggestions from the audience to inspire their choices. In this show, if the actors slip up and say or do anything not family friendly, they have to wear a big orange bucket on their head for the rest of their scene. It rarely happens, but when it does it’s a redeemable treat for everyone in the room.
