For over a decade, Spitfire Comedy has been St. Pete’s premiere hub for the art of improvisation. We’re thrilled to be enrolling for our 2026 St. Pete Youth Improv Camp season.
At Spitfire, we've always believed that improv is more than comedy - it's a way of being in the world. Listening. Trusting your instincts. Building something out of nothing with another person. These are life skills. And we've been teaching them to adults for years.
This summer, we're bringing that same energy, heart, and joyful chaos to the kids who need it most. In a world full of screens and schedules, we're offering something radically different: a room full of people who will support them, catch them when they fall, and laugh right along with them.
Whether your kid is a natural performer or has never set foot on a stage, they'll leave with new friends, a new voice, and a whole lot of stories to tell.

The skills kids learn on our stage follow them everywhere. The classroom, the cafeteria, the job interview, the long-term friendships.
► Improv helps with social anxiety and teaches students how to adapt in an ever-changing world. Everyone discovers something new about how they communicate and connect.
► When you're making each other laugh and supporting each other's scenes, you build trust fast. Spitfire students leave with friendships forged in the fire of shared creation.

JUNIOR Improvisers
Ages 5 - 7
An introduction to the fundamentals of improv comedy.

Teen Improv Academy
Ages 13 - 17
A narrative-driven intensive for teen performers. We'll cover:

All capped off with a showcase for friends and family.

Summer is short. The best summers are the ones where something changes - a new skill clicks, a new friendship forms, a new version of yourself shows up that you didn't know was there.
